Everybody is welcome to enjoy the stuff I make at Bastionland.
While there are options to give support, I never want anybody to feel like such support is expected.
Some people enjoy chipping in to help keep things running, and while this is appreciated, you’re just as welcome if you’re enjoying the blog, videos, podcasts, and games for free.
So I’ve been reviewing the options for how to give that support.
For those on Substack, I’ve turned on the option to switch to a paid subscription. Upgrading to a paid subscription doesn’t get you any extra content beyond the monthly Bastionland Backstage video, which is really just a small thank you and ramble about future plans. Aside from that you get the same weekly email as everybody else but you’re giving a little extra to help out.
I tried to make a button that would go here and allow you to easily switch to a paid subscription, but I could only work out how to do it with a futile 1% discount, which feels strangely on-brand.
For those on Patreon, things are staying the same. You’ve got some more varied subscription options, with access to posts a little earlier and the same Bastionland Backstage video as the paid substack subscribers.
Alongside this, I’m continuing to gently mothball my twitter account. The good news it that if you’re subscribed to this newsletter then you’re already in the best place to stay up to date with everything I do. If you want to get involved in a conversation about Bastionland then look no further than the Discord Server.
Bye for now,
Chris
